Bringing together extensive experience, Set Her Free’s team possesses a deep understanding of the obstacles that our communities face. We know all too well that bolstering academic performance without also providing consistent, nutritious meals will be difficult if not impossible. Similarly, administering medical services without improving health knowledge will do little to reduce Uganda’s rising HIV prevalence rates. But, if implemented together, these interventions can transform lives.
Our approach, rooted in this understanding of our communities’ contexts, addresses not one but many of the challenges that threaten to derail the lives of young women and girls in Uganda. Our comprehensive programs, which encompass rehabilitative, health, educational, and vocational interventions, ensure that beneficiaries have everything that they need to realize their potential.
